ODP ANNOUNCEMENT: Editor's won't be able to edit for approximately 72 hours.

An announcement by ODP staff on the internal fora, which they have agreed should be made into a public announcement, is that AOL staff is upgrading the IT infrastructure and while its taking place the editing side will not be available for approximately 72 hours. They don't think it will necessarily take this long, but this is the time-frame they are giving. That doesn't mean that editors will be completely cut-off from Dmoz while this is happening; they will still have access to the internal fora. The editing side, new editor applications, new permission requests, and things of the nature most likely won't be available during this time span. All of this will begin on Monday, July 30, 2007.
